Since 2017, the vineyard has been converted to organic farming.<\/p>\n<p>Powerful wine, with a great aromatic power, notes of spices, ruby to purple colour, good length in the mouth (heritage cuv\u00e9e, bottled at the Ch\u00e2teau).<\/p>\n<p>Cellaring: 6 to 10 years<\/p>\n<p>Ideal serving temperature : 17\u00b0 C<\/p>\n<p>Edgar, our faithful chef, will serve it with his famous duck breast, his excellent entrecote with garlic butter, the cheese platter on the P\u00e9rigord menu or his inimitable Pech Charmante&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 0.7em;\"><em>Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health: consume in moderation.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Did you know that?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;Pech charmant&#8221; originates from the word &#8220;pech&#8221; which means hill in Occitan.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2435 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lepech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/enfants-en-tente.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"275\" height=\"183\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Ideally situated, the campsite spreads out over a large part of its twelve hectares on a wooded plateau of oak, chestnut and pine trees, in the heart of wild nature and the ponies, donkeys, goats, rabbits and chickens of our &#8220;farm&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>And the first men&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Coming to Pech Charmant is also going back in time.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Close to Les Eyzies (Dordogne-P\u00e9rigord noir), our family campsite is located near the &#8220;world capital of prehistory&#8221;. In this valley, traces of the &#8220;Cro-Magnon&#8221; man have been discovered. After a dip in the swimming pool or a drink at the campsite bar, just a few minutes away, you can follow their tracks in the Font Gaume or Lascaux caves, or in the heart of the &#8220;National Museum of Prehistory&#8221;.
