Excursions
on foot, by bike, on horseback or with a donkey
Our campsite is perfectly
situated for ramblers and nature lovers. You can start your excursion directly
by the campsite.
Because the region is a protected nature reserve you won’t come across
any industrial sites. But you wíll come across picturesque villages and
hamlets and beautiful scenery though: the France of old!
We have mapped out various routes for you to explore either with or
without a donkey (see: donkey excursions). There is also a GR-route that runs
along the campsite.
Would you rather
scout the hilly countryside by bike? Then a good condition
is required and a bicycle with 21 gears is recommended.
We offer, during the summer, an extensive program of
horse riding with horses from a neighbouring riding school.
1. donkey excursions: 25 € half-day / 38 € per day / more than 1 day:
35 € per day
2. horse riding: children under 13 -> 12 € per hour / children 13+
and adults -> 14 € per hour
Activity
program
For young and old … discover and join in
During the summer we offer a
varied activity program. Every morning children are welcome in the
children’s club. As well as that we organise donkey rides, games and
water fun for them.
For the older children, parents and anyone who wants to participate, we
organise sports tournaments (volleyball, table tennis, jeu de boules),
ghost tours, country evenings etc.
Feel free to sign up for activities such as canoeing, horse riding,
rafting, caving and rock climbing.
Theme menus …”all around the table”
A
typical French custom is dining together.
What would a feast be without long rows of tables set for dinner? Come and
dine with us in this French manner and taste the regional specialities.
During the summer some of these banquets are given a theme, where the
restaurant is decorated completely in the style of the theme.
Our house on the campsite
dates from the 18th century. We have started to renovate the
caves (cellars) with the intention of creating a cosy restaurant. Mariette has already done her impression of Jamie Oliver in
her new kitchen … mmm!
The back garden will be transformed into a
sociable meeting place where you can enjoy a drink or a meal.
